Lotto

When I was back in the land of EDS we used to go in for a lotto fund (and they had better not have won) and there was a great deal of excitement over roll over's and extra tickets would be brought by all and sundry.

Now over here in the frozen north they have a thing called Euro millions a couple of weeks ago a woman in Ireland won the jackpot of £77 million and already the next roll over has reached $51 million pounds (think we might invest in a ticket ourselves)

England have a Parade for the Weather

The English are having a parade today in London to celebrate the fact that bad light prevented the last test being finished thereby giving them the victory!!

I suppose if my national top ten ranked football team (i.e. soccer) was thrashed by the 116th ranked team a few days earlier I to would be looking for something (or anything) in which to celebrate
