Christmas

Yes that time of year is once again fast approaching and though we will most likely have a white Christmas (or as I have been told by the PC amongst us Xmas) this is due to the constant frost not the nonexistent snow - temps have been a balmy -2 most nights.

Am working both Xmas and boxing day (go the Bah Humbug) but this is solely down to me and my greed if work wants to throw triple time and a day accrued at me who am I to complain

Lasly I want to rant at those amongst us who feel we must be cared for and preventing from harming ourselves the dreaded Health and Saftey (or in the words of Stephen Fry "Health and F@#king Safety)

We are a world gone mad during a recent QI programme Mr Fry explained that they couldnt demonstrate the properties of helium in the human voice due to these monitors of the public wellbeing also I heard on the radio the other day that pantomime shows are no longer permitted to toss sweets (lollies to the Aussie contingent) into the audience due to ....you guessed it HEALTH and SAFETY I have managed to survive till the age of 44 despite my many leming like impulses without these guardians protecting me and do you know what I think I may just be able to continue on a few more years by ignoring them
